Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Brand Design & Copy with expertise in graphic design and illustration to help elevate and expand the brand’s creative expression. This role is ideal for a visually driven creator who brings strong conceptual thinking, refined design sensibilities, and the ability to translate ideas into compelling brand visuals across all platforms. You will guide and evolve the brand’s visual language, illustration styles, typography systems, layout principles, color palettes, and graphic elements, ensuring they stay fresh, cohesive, and strategically aligned. You will also craft and refine brand copy to support visual storytelling, providing a voice that complements and enhances the design work. In addition to hands-on design and illustration responsibilities, you will manage and mentor a direct report who supports both design execution and packaging operations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in brand design, copywriting, content creation, or related fields.
  • 1-2 years of managerial experience leading direct reports or freelancers.
  • Proven experience managing creative projects and enforcing brand guidelines.
  • Experience in Illustration & Motion Design required

Skills

  • Strong portfolio showcasing both visual design and copywriting work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CMS platforms, and project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana)
  • Understanding of SEO and digital content best practices.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
  • Experience in product marketing, shopper marketing, and overall brand management is highly preferred.
