Graphic Designer (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)

We are a small, online gourmet dog treat company located in Manhattan. We started the company 7 years ago and are passionate about our high-quality dog treats and our four-legged, furry clients.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Graphic Designer to help grow our brand. This role is ideal for someone passionate about design, storytelling, and building engaging images. You’ll work closely with co-founders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where creativity and initiative are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Create eye-catching assets for social media
• Design marketing materials and website imagery
• Source high-quality visuals and leverage AI tools to produce unique, engaging content
• Develop packaging design concepts
• Design landing pages, email campaigns, and web assets that drive conversions
• Create illustrations, icons, and visual elements that bring our message to life
• Help evolve and maintain Fig & Tyler’s visual identity
• Ensure brand consistency while thoughtfully evolving the brand
• Depending on your skill set, this role may go beyond design, e.g., helping create website content and writing copy for email campaigns

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design or a related field
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a problem-solving attitude
• Proficiency in graphic design software and vector-based tools
• Experience using AI tools to create realistic, engaging visuals
• Understanding of B2C and B2B marketing strategies (email campaigns, digital ads, etc.)
• Strong grasp of visual storytelling and design principles
• High attention to detail with a commitment to polished, high-quality work
• Knowledge of Shopify, would be a bonus
• Love of pets/dogs is a requirement :)

Work Schedule

This is a flexible, part-time position requiring about 1 day per week. You can work from home and will have the flexibility to choose your working hours. However, you must reside in the U.S.A. and be legally qualified to work in the U.S.A.
