AI Artist / Designer to Create App-Ready Avatars (Proportion-Locked for Animation Overlay)

Project Overview

We’re updating the avatars inside The Tapping Solution, a leading emotional wellness app with millions of completed sessions. Our tapping points light up on top of the avatar image, so the new illustrations must follow the exact same proportions, pose, and framing as our current avatar.

We already created a silhouette template (proportion-locked) that every new avatar must match pixel-for-pixel.

Your role is to use AI tools (Stable Diffusion + ControlNet, Midjourney V6 with image refs, or similar) to generate new, emotionally warm, soft-painterly avatars that align precisely to the given silhouette.

This is NOT a “draw whatever you want” job. This is a precision + style project:

The pose must stay identical.

The proportions must stay identical.

The silhouette must stay identical.

Only style, lighting, color, and character features should change.

Deliverables

You will produce

1. 6–12 App-Ready Avatar Variations

Each one perfectly aligned to our silhouette template

Soft painterly or soft-realistic style

Warm, human, emotionally soothing

Diverse hair, skin tones, age ranges

No tapping points visible (our app animates those separately)

2. Transparent PNGs

2048px+ resolution

Background removed

Clean edges

Perfectly centered and matched to the pose template

Required Skills

AI Art + Image Control

You MUST be fluent in one or more

Stable Diffusion XL + ControlNet (Canny / Lineart / Reference Pose)

Midjourney V6 with strong image-weight control

ComfyUI workflows

Adobe Firefly with reference match

DALL·E 3 with pose-locking techniques

Illustration Sense

Ability to refine AI output so it looks warm, human, and polished

Understanding of lighting, skin tone, and emotional expression

Attention to Detail

This cannot be “close enough.”

The avatar must line up with the tapping point animation system.
