Graphic Designer Needed for Typographic Brand Mark for “The Garden IRL” and "The Garden Notes"

I’m looking for a brand-forward designer with a strong typographic eye to create two typographic-only logo/brand marks for sub-brands within a luxury, identity-first fragrance brand ecosystem.

The two marks are

  • The Garden IRL — an experiential, in-person event series
  • The Garden Notes — a digital editorial/newsletter platform

Both marks will live within an existing brand architecture. The master brand uses Helvetica Neue LT Std, and I’m looking for a designer who can either:

  • Create refined typographic treatments using Helvetica Neue (weight, spacing, hierarchy), or
  • Explore a complementary serif or Club Tropicana–inspired typeface that feels elevated, editorial, and intentional
  • No illustrations or icons are needed — this is a type-led project.

Use cases include

  • Event signage and listings (Eventbrite / Partiful)
  • Newsletter headers and website sections
  • Social content
  • Light print applications

What I’m looking for

  • Strong typography skills (kerning, spacing, balance)
  • Experience designing within existing brand systems
  • Ability to create marks that work standalone and alongside a master brand
  • Clean, minimal, scalable execution
  • Comfort designing for both experiential and editorial contexts

Deliverables

  • Primary typographic logo/mark for The Garden IRL
  • Primary typographic logo/mark for The Garden Notes
  • 1–2 alternate treatments per mark
  • Black, white, blue and transparent versions

This project is part of a larger brand architecture, with potential for ongoing work if the fit is strong. Experience with beauty, lifestyle, editorial, or experiential brands is a plus.
