Graphic Designer- Woodworking

Description

A Graphic Designer for Popular Woodworking and Woodsmith is responsible for layout design, photo direction and some illustration assignments for the bi-monthly magazine. The position requires good time management and communication skills. Familiarity and interest in woodworking and tools a plus.

Requirements

• 60% layout and design work
• 25% photo direction and prop production and/or procurement
• 15% illustration work
• Sketch-Up experience is preferred

Professional Qualifications

• BA Design degree required
• Minimum 5 years experience required
• Fluent in Adobe Design Suite software
• Position is Work-from-home (Option to work in the office, depending on location)
• Experience with woodworking preferred
