We are seeking a talented, innovative and collaborative graphic designer to join our growing team at Blulabs.
As our new Graphic Designer, you will be involved in many aspects of our design efforts and work closely with the product, packaging, and retail teams to bring new concepts to life.
In this key role, you will
- Work on a wide range of projects including packaging graphics and CAD’s for food service products (cutlery, restaurant to-go packaging), nitrile & latex gloves, retail wellness and fitness products (self-care, massage guns, therapy products, etc.), clean and retouch images, and other design-related projects as needed by the team
- Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the brand or product line appropriately
- Work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects with the guidance of our Design Director and our leadership team.
- Meet deadlines, and schedule project implementation based on prioritization and workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
- Examine existing design processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve our overall design capabilities
- Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video assets
- Assist in researching and merchandising new products for our retail wellness division to propose to our retail buyers
- Be able to juggle multiple projects at once, as well as work on multiple brands at once
About You
You are an experienced graphic designer with a passion for driving designs all the way through - from the abstract idea into solid design deliverables. You are naturally curious and love learning to keep yourself informed of the current state of design and best practices, with an inherent ability to mix new and innovative concepts with tried and true methods. You are detail-oriented, skilled in taking incomplete input and making strategic design decisions, and comfortable working on both innovative and detail-oriented creative projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience
- Expertise in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional creativity and design skills
- Bonus points if your experience includes:
- Strong experience working in Illustrator
- A portfolio with CPG product or packaging design experience
- CAD experience
- Photography experience and proficiency with Photoshop
- Working with or in a startup or growth stage company environment where priorities and project needs can change quickly
- Attention to detail
- Proven desire to continue to grow your skills with ongoing education and training

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
