We’re hiring a YouTube-first thumbnail designer focused on click-through rate and viewer psychology, not aesthetic-only design.

What You’ll Design

• YouTube long-form thumbnails
• Short-form or Reel thumbnails
• Not brand-only or decorative designs.

What You’ll Do

• Design high-CTR YouTube thumbnails at volume
• Translate video ideas into clear, curiosity-driven visuals
• Use strong contrast, facial expressions, framing, and text hierarchy
• Collaborate with video editors and content strategists
• Maintain brand consistency across multiple creators
• Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance

This Role Is NOT For

• General graphic designers without YouTube experience
• Brand-first or aesthetic-only designers
• Canva-only designers with no performance focus

We want designers who understand how YouTube thumbnails actually drive clicks.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing YouTube-native thumbnails
• Portfolio showing CTR-focused thumbnail work
• Strong understanding of viewer psychology and visual hierarchy
• Proficiency in Photoshop or equivalent tools
• Ability to work fast, hit deadlines, and take direct feedback

Compensation

• $10 per long-form YouTube thumbnail
• $3 per short-form thumbnail
