Designer/Artist - Cartoon Character Creation

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Designer/Artist to create a cute cartoon-like character of a monster. This character will play a significant role in our project and must resonate with our audience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for bringing characters to life.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to understand the concept and vision for the monster character.
• Develop initial sketches and concepts for the character based on provided guidelines and discussions.
• Create a short video presentation to discuss the character's features, colors, and overall look.
• Refine and finalize the character design based on feedback and input from the team.
• Ensure that the character design is suitable for the intended purpose and aligns with the project's objectives.
• Provide necessary revisions and adjustments as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience (2-4 years) in character design, illustration, or related field.
• Proficiency in digital illustration software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Strong conceptualization and visualization skills.
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas effectively.
• Creative flair and the ability to think outside the box.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A portfolio showcasing previous character design or illustration work is required.
