• Missing Pieces Support Group is a nonprofit organization founded by women who have personally experienced the heartbreak of pregnancy loss—from first-term miscarriages to stillbirths. Our mission is to uplift underserved communities through advocacy, education, and resource connection. We understand the emotional and physical toll of such loss and are committed to helping others navigate their grief.

Our mission is to bring awareness to pregnancy loss and offer support to grieving families by:

We are seeking a passionate, empathetic, and collaborative individual to join our team in a volunteer capacity. This is an unpaid/volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in donating their time to our non-profit.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Volunteer Presentation & Graphic Design Support will partner with the Loss Support Program Coordinator to develop high-quality presentations for internal and external use. This includes training modules, program overviews, workshops, and conference presentations. All content will be provided; the volunteer will focus on visual layout, design consistency, and clear communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Canva, or similar presentation software
• Demonstrated experience designing professional presentations

Highly Desired

• Experience with graphic design, communications, infographics, or visual storytelling

Desired but Not Required

• Background in social work, counseling, mental health, or related fields (MSW/LPC preferred)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Build visually engaging PowerPoint or Canva presentations based on provided content
• Maintain consistent branding across all materials (colors, fonts, design elements)
• Create clear and effective slides using graphics, icons, and infographics
• Assist with formatting, layout, and visual storytelling
• Collaborate asynchronously via email/text; occasional Zoom meetings as needed
• (If licensed or in the field) Collaborate on curriculum or content development for training modules

TIME COMMITMENT

• Volunteer role with flexible hours (estimated 2–6 hours per week)
• Remote, with occasional virtual meetings as needed
• Ideal for individuals seeking experience in nonprofit development, fundraising operations, or admin support
