Website Designer Needed for Big Commerce and 3D Product Configuration

I already run a live BigCommerce store and now need to level-up the buying journey with an immersive 3D product configurator that kicks in before checkout. The goal is to let shoppers build their item piece-by-piece, see every change in real time, and then pass the final spec straight into the cart.

Here’s what the configurator must do

• Product rotation from every angle
• Color and material selection with instant visual updates
• Component customization, including adding or removing parts as options appear
• Seamless push of the chosen configuration into BigCommerce’s native checkout flow

I’m open to whatever WebGL stack you prefer—Three.js, Babylon.js, or something similar—as long as the result runs smoothly on modern desktop and mobile browsers and stays lightweight enough for quick load times. All models are available in standard formats; you’ll handle optimization, scene setup, and the front-end integration.

Deliverables and acceptance criteria

1. Fully functioning configurator embedded in my BigCommerce theme without breaking existing code.

2. Clean, well-commented source files plus brief hand-off documentation so my team can maintain it.

3. Cross-browser testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and basic mobile QA.

4. Completion by Friday, January 16, including one revision round to polish any rough edges.
