Job Description

Apex Clean Energy is currently seeking a part-time fall associate to support graphic communication and marketing initiatives. The candidate will design high-quality, creative graphics and document layouts consistent with the company’s brand identity for print, digital, and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual content, including infographics, invitations, newsletters, advertisement, maps, and other visualizations for print and digital use
• Work on website design, content creation/distribution, digital campaigns, market analysis
• In addition to main projects, assist on ad hoc writing, editing, and social media projects as needed
• Opportunities to support on customer-oriented communications and corporate video and photo projects
• Follow Apex identity and brand guidelines for all design work

Qualifications

• Completed or in pursuit of BA or MA with a focus on graphic communication, marketing, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop at a minimum)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and analytics
• Website content management system experience is a plus
• A clear understanding of design principles, layout, color theory, and typography
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
